Destiny The Taken King

Destiny “The Taken King” released to the public on the 15th of September, and has now been out for the past 3 weeks. During this time players from all over have been grinding out the games loot system 24/7, and why not? The game runs at a smooth 60fps, with an enhanced digital feature for the ultimate optical gaming experience. It plays smoothly at 1080p as its standard base resolution setting however can be reduced to 720 if need be. The game is also packed full of new weapons ranging from common rarity to exotic, and is a follow up of the year 1 game which was titled 2destiny” The taken king is not essentially a new game, but instead is the year 2 of the game. But do not let this put you off as the DLC update is a whopping 17.8 GB packed with content per Update; which is now been two updates making the grand total of the download 35.6 Gb of data! This is packed full of new quest lines, story mission and will divert players to becoming the true “legends” of the solar system. During your play-time you will discover a long-lost war, and will have to battle Oryx “the Taken King”. To do this you will have to participate in the “Kings Fall” raid which is an all-new 6 man activity where the treasures of Oryx lay in wait of being claimed. But how do you install it?
To install the New Year 2 update, you must first locate the settings tab on your consoles dashboard and locate the update section. Then you must press the select button and scroll down to the manage app tab, from here press the “A” button and then your download should start installing. (This will only be visible if the DLC has been purchased)
The new update features new optical enhanced settings allowing the player to alter their gaming experience to fit them. The new accessibility function allows the altercation of colours to occur, which enables people classed as colour blind to be able to see the prestige colours the game has to offer. Also, the update features a new brightness scale, allowing players to decrease or enhance the brightness of their screen which should benefit them with the best gaming experience possible.

The DLC is purchasable digitally or physically and ranges anywhere from £40- £80, and is packed with content. If you are the type to collect everything then the physical collector’s edition is fit for you, as you will receive a limited edition steel book of the taken king, in game modified weapons exclusively for you, a real-life in game relic knowns as the “strange coin” and much more. Reach the max light level before the 25th to receive exclusive VIP rewards as a year one player, granting you access to a comfortable 2.5 GB of secrets and collectibles.  Overall the year2 version of the game looks much smoother and functions much more efficiently and would receive a 9/10 rating from me.
